Itasca Residents,
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 3, 2024, ALL TRASH MUST BE CONTAINED INSIDE A REPUBLIC SERVICES-SUPPLIED CART.
Additional carts can be ordered for a small monthly fee by calling 254-687-2201.
Republic Services will be delivering your new trash carts the week of September 23rd. Trash collection with the cart will begin on October 3, 2024.
There is no charge to your service day, which will remain on Thursday.
Republic Services will provide curbside bulk and brush collection on the SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH. Collection will include up to 6 cubic yards.
*** Itasca Dump Days: Every 1st Friday OR Saturday of the Month ***
Per Republic Services & the City of Itasca, You will be required to come to City Hall to pick up a City of Itasca Landfill Pass to be used during free dump days. Residents will be required to sign for each pass issued. Only ONE pass will be issued per month and will expire 30 days from date issued. You will be required to show your ID or utility bill indicating that you are a resident of Itasca. — additional information will be provided on the pass if you have any questions or concerns. There will NOT be a dumpster located across from the Fire Department. All materials will be taken to the Landfill.
Passes can be picked up at City Hall, Mon-Fri, 8am to 4pm.
Landfill hours of operation:Mon-Fri from 7am to 4pmSaturday from 7am to 12pm
All of the City of Itasca's recycling is collected on Thursday. All routes run as normal except for the below-listed holidays;
- Christmas
- New Year’s Day
- Thanksgiving
